The Data Center #10 is composed by 50 individual mini canvases handmade by the artist. Torres-Machado treats color as data. The color tonality used to paint each of these mini canvases, has been taken from old currencies, honoring the 20th century art masters’ portraits. The mural concept, developed in relation to the art and stocks value nowadays, is a distinctive approach. Some of the Data Center series artworks are monumental, and they relate to the collectors and the stock market, interweaving the rich experiences and images.
